A Tree With Three Branches, A Prayer Within Me, 2024

A tree with three branches, a prayer held within me,
I look out to a mare in foal, standing looking back at me,
a blue wrapper sits quietly,
by my feet by the fence by the back of the bay tree,
gently, I walk home, walk back,
around the right of the tree with three branches
By the roses, the pea straw.
I walk around the daffodils and by the cherry blossom
I push a wheelbarrow, I return to the garden, I return to my mother
